Our organization was started in 1996 in an attempt to help local girls
prepare for the softball at the high school level.  We had three teams
participate in our first two years.  We have added teams over the
years. Ten seasons years later, we had eight teams competing in the
10U through 18U age levels.  In this, our 11th season we haveseven
teams competing at the 10U through 16U divisions.
The original goal of Loveland Rage Softball was to improve the skill level at the local high schools.  We've been successful in this arena, as the four Thompson R2J High Schools have seen great improvement and success in their respective leagues.  There were Rage players on the runner-up State Championship team at Loveland High School in 2000 and every starter but one of the Colorado State Champship team from LHS in 2005 were current or former Rage players.  Mountain View, Thompson Valley and Berthoud High Schools have had conference championships and success at the state level with Loveland Rage players on their rosters.
Loveland Rage’s long-term goal is to compete in the “A” class at all age levels, with developmental teams in the “B” class.  We’ve had several Loveland Rage players go on to play softball at the collegiate level.  Some of our players have returned to coach our current teams.
Loveland Rage teams are made up of approximately 80% Loveland Colorado girls, although girls from other communities are on our rosters.  We have coaches from our city high schools involved with our program.  We have a pitching coach with 50+ year’s experience available to our organization.  Loveland Rage Softball is run by volunteers.
